Overview

Level: Primary and/or Secondary

Location: Bukit Timah, Guthrie House

Salary: SGD 3,000 to 3,800 (before CPF and benefits) per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications

Work days: Monday to Friday
Work hours: 9am to 6pm

We are looking to groom Curriculum Specialists to plan, organise, and create high-quality curriculum materials for teaching English and Writing in the highly regarded TWC Way.

Job Description

As a Curriculum Specialist, your primary focus will include the organisation, production, and development of TWC’s curriculum to be used in the classroom. Reporting to the Curriculum Manager, you will work together with TWC’s Curriculum Team to ensure the smooth delivery and quality of TWC’s curriculum.

Your job responsibilities include:

  • Develop and produce quality lesson materials for TWC programmes locally and globally

  • Liaise with teachers to improve on TWC’s products and services

  • Audit and edit curriculum for the best learning outcomes

  • Proofread written work

  • Other duties associated with the role and assigned by your line manager

Requirements

Applicants must fulfil the following criteria:​

  1. Degree from a reputable university; related fields of Law, Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences and Communications is a plus.

  2. At least 1 year of full time teaching experience in either public or private schools.

  3. Excellent academic track record, with at least an ‘A2’ in ‘O’ Level English, or ‘B’ in ‘A’ Level General Paper (GP) / English Literature.

  4. Experience in teaching Primary and Secondary school levels will be an added advantage.

  5. Qualifications in editorial work and/or English teaching is preferred but not necessary.

  6. Highly familiar with Microsoft Word for its layout and word processing functions.
