What’s New in PSLE Oral This Year?
PSLE Oral has two key components: Reading Aloud and Stimulus-Based Conversation (SBC).
Recent changes to both have made the exam more demanding:
1.
The Oral exam now carries greater weightage (20% instead of 15%). Strong performance is even more critical.
2.
Both sections are no longer linked by theme. Students must switch gears quickly between different topics.
3.
The SBC photo has no captions or textual clues. Students will need sharper observation and creative thinking.

PSLE Oral 1 and PSLE Oral 2 cover different sets of themes and content. If your child attended our June Holiday PSLE Oral course (PSLE Oral 1), they may choose to attend PSLE Oral 2 for wider exposure and extra practice.
