Frequently Asked Questions
PSLE ORAL 3

1. My child has already attended PSLE Oral 1 & 2. Can they still take PSLE Oral 3?
Absolutely! Many parents have shared that they would love even more Oral practice for their child, so we've created a brand-new oral programme to meet that need.

2. How is PSLE Oral 3 different from PSLE Oral 1 & 2?
In addition to a completely new set of topics and content, Oral 3 introduces several new activities designed to build students' confidence and spontaneity:
a) Tricky Words Challenge – Students tackle commonly mispronounced words through engaging pronunciation games.
b) Think on the Spot – Students practise speaking confidently on a given topic with minimal preparation time.
c) Reading Pace Guidance – Students learn how to identify whether they are reading too quickly or too slowly, and adjust their pace for a more effective oral delivery.

These activities help students become more adaptable, articulate and confident speakers both in oral examinations and everyday situations.
3. What kinds of topics will be covered?
Students will be exposed to a wide range of topics, including themes inspired by past PSLE papers as well as real-life situations, fictional scenarios, factual texts, and personal or reflective themes.
As PSLE Oral topics can be highly varied and are rarely repeated, students need to be prepared for anything. By encountering diverse topics, they learn to think on their feet, express their ideas with confidence, and draw on a broader range of examples and general knowledge during the examination.

PSLE SITUATIONAL WRITING

1. My child already knows the formats. Will this course still be useful?
Yes. Knowing the format is only one part of Situational Writing. Many students lose marks because they misinterpret the task, miss key content points, or use an inappropriate tone.
This course teaches students how to analyse context, audience and purpose so they can respond effectively to any Situational Writing question.

2. How does this course help with PSLE?
Situational Writing questions can vary widely from year to year. Instead of relying on memorisation, students learn transferable skills and frameworks that can be applied to different writing formats and scenarios.
