A Good Deed

A Good Deed, TWC Student's Composition, Model Composition

“Chirp! Chirp!” The music of singing birds reached Johnny’s ears. He was taking a stroll in the park and heard some children playing on that breezy morning.

He passed a wooden bench and spotted a bird lying on the bench. He stared curiously at the poor creature. Quickly, he approached the bench.

Upon a closer look, Johnny realised its wings were broken. The injury prevented it from flying. It was tweeting weakly for help. Johnny’s heart ached for the injured creature. Immediately, he rushed to the veterinarian as he cradled the feathered creature.

After the vet treated the broken wings, Johnny smiled in relief. The vet praised him for his good deed.
