A Helpful Boy

A helpful Boy, TWC Student's Composition, Model Composition

Last Sunday, I was at “Kiddy Toy Store”. My cousin’s birthday was nearing and I was determined to find him a good gift. My cousin loved cars so I browsed around the place for the perfect toy car. As I was looking at some toy cars, I heard a sobbing sound behind me. I turned around and realised that it was a little girl crying. I knelt down and asked her, “Little girl, why are you crying?” With tears, the girl replied, “I am lost, I can’t find my mother!” I soon found out that the girl’s name was Jane. She had wandered off from her mother while they were shopping. By this time, Jane was crying really hard. I was eager to find her mother. I brought Jane to the Information Counter. The lady at the counter acknowledged our presence and asked me why Jane was crying. I told her Jane was lost and could not find her mother. The lady took down what I said and made a public announcement. We waited for Jane’s mother to come.

Fortunately, Jane’s mother arrived after a few minutes. Jane’s mother thanked me for finding her daughter. She was so anxious about her daughter as she thought Jane had been kidnapped. I was relieved that Jane had finally found her mother. I felt proud of myself for helping someone in need that day.
